London with teens
I will be in London with my two teenaged daughters in November. Any suggestions as to things they might like to do or see?
Seeing a few shows is usually a big hit with teens. The half-price ticket booth in Leicester Square is good for shows that have been running for a while, though it won't have tickets for the current top shows.

The Tower of London (esp crown jewels) would be good. Shopping at Harrods, on Oxford street, or Covent Garden. Lots of good museums, but not all teens will be interested; Victoria & Albert museum might catch their interest. London Eye (giant ferris wheel). Take the train from Paddington station to Windsor/Eton. Take the bus as well as the tube; you see more from the bus.

Hi Cindy,

We went to London this summer with our two teens. They thoroughly enjoyed: 1) London production of MAMA MIA ( I bought the tickets through Global Tickets.com); 2) Big Red bus tour which lets you get on and off at most of the tourist sites; 3) London Dungeon tour; 4) Mme. Tussaud's Wax Museum; 5) Sherlock Holmes Museum which is only a block or two away from the wax museum; 6) Unfortunately for the adults, but still fun, The Hard Rock Cafe restaurant. We had good luck going there just before noon one day. Hope this helps! Have fun!

Having been to Camden Market a couple of times I must say it it appears to be a real happening kind of place for teens.

Thank you all!
