Hi <BR>I would like to have any information on places of interest for kids, as I am going to spend a weekend in london with my 6 year old son.<BR>Dan

Depending on his maturity and interests here are some ideas: <BR><BR>The London Transport museum. It is in Covent Garden and is really fun - he can climb in and ove all sorts of old buses and tube cars and there are good interactive exhibits. Plus the buskers (street performers) in Covent Garden can be fun for a little one. <BR><BR>The Aquarium/London Eye. The London Aquarium and Eye are both at county Hall so it is good for the adult and the child. <BR><BR>A boat trip on the river or better yet a canal boat ride in Little Venice which drops you off in the zoo.<BR><BR>Feeding the pigeons in Trafalgar Sq (before Ken Livingston has them all killed off). Some kids think this is a hoot, others are scared silly.<BR><BR>

When we took our children to London the first time our youngest son was 6. His favorite activities were the Science Museum and Natural History Museum. We actually had to go back to the Natual History Museum because our kids wanted to see more.<BR><BR>My son also really liked riding the subways and the trains. He loves trains, as most boys do, so he had a blast. We still tease him by saying "Mind the Gap" because that drove him crazy.<BR><BR>On the trip we just took this June, his favorite places were the Roman Baths in Bath and the Aquarium. We wanted to go to the zoo but the weather wasn't conducive to that activity (rain).<BR><BR>Also, the tower of london has a lot of weapons that my son enjoyed seeing.<BR><BR>Have fun.<BR>

The FIRST place I would take him would be the Science Museum. No matter what his interests, he'll love it--great for "kids" of all ages.

I took my 9 year old daughter and we loved the tower of london (the crown jewels) We visited london dungeon and that was worth the queue.<BR>It will be hard work as our feet where throbbing as it's so vast<BR>Tina
