Would you mind sharing your B & B name and address in Eltham. Sounds great value, particularly so in view of the added london fare expenses for tourists. Also, how did you travel to London central - bus or train? Jay.

Mrs Dennis; 770 Dunvegan Rd; Eltham; ph 020 88500584 (don't dial first 0 from outside the UK.
I took the train in - it was just a few steps literally from the B&B or the Eltham train station (called the Overground as opposite to underground subway system) you can buy a TravelCard good for 4 zones and take trains into London Bridge, Waterloo, Victoria or Charing X - my changing at London Bridge you can take a train to Kings Cross, St Pauls. Takes about 30 minutes to London with very frequent service day and night.
22.50 pounds with Continental breakfast - unlimited or a pound more for cooked English breakfast. Spotlessly clean but no en suite rooms (shower, WC in room) but only a few rooms and they were not usually full during my week's stay. supermarket, restaurants right down the street. Very friendly lady that Mrs Dennis and sure beats the extraordinary hotel costs in central London - plus i love being in real neighborhoods more than in tourist areas of London. Has parking out front.
