Susan, thank you for your trip report.
I, too, took the train to Bath and did the Mad Max tour.
I found the tour to be good value for money, very informative and great fun, as the tour driver was a funny and chatty guy.
It also saved having to hire a car as public transport does not usually "drop you at the door" as the tour does.
The Mad Max tour of the Cotswolds was one of the highlights of my trip. Loved it!!
Now I have a question about the "oyster card" - can you explain how it works and the benefits please.
