London Travelcard/Day-out help

I'm a frequent traveler to London/England but usually for just a couple days before heading out to see BF in North. So I usually don't do the touristy things anymore.

This time, I will be with kids just in the London area. I will be getting the 7-day TC. I've been trying to get some of the 2-for-1 discounts for attractions but keep running into problems with the days-out site.
Are the discounts not offered with the 7-day TC anymore? Are there any other discounts we would be eligible for?

Unfortunately, the 2-for-1 offer changed their policy. 7-day travelcard is no longer valid. One has to have a monthly or yearly travelcard to qualify.

There is a separate set of offers related to Oystercards:

Thank you.

Can a 7-day TC be loaded onto an Oyster card? I had read somewhere it was no longer possible but the tfl site doesn't say.

Yes, it can - it normally would come on an Oystercard anyway.

All PAPER travelcards can be used for 2-for-1

1 & 3 day travelcards automatically come as a paper card but the only place you can get a paper 7 day card is from a main train station (and not the underground station associated with it)
