London to Paris - Fly v's Eurostar

Hi

Due to the limted time in both cities ...is it quicker to fly from LHR - Paris or arrive into Central Paris via Eurostar including time getting into the city from the airport and train station.

Which option would take the less time - we will be travelling either very early am or late pm ?

Thanks

Where are you going from in the UK? If you are in London/Kent then much quicker to use Eurostar. If you are not, then it may not make much difference time-wise.

if you're within striking distance of Waterloo (and from later on in the year St Pancras) it's a no-brainer - take the train it wins at every level.

The Eurostar is faster but is often is more expensive, because the cheap seats sell out very early.

If you are near an airport from where you can fly to Paris then you fly to Paris, otherwise get the Eurostar - just as quick, prices are generally comparable and overall much more civilised than going to the average airport (let alone LHR) these days

If you are in the south of England, go Eurostar. It will save you the hassle (and cost) of an airport journey at both ends, and both cities' airports, believe me, are best avoided! If you book early, the Eurostar can also be a bargain.
