London Theatre seating charts
Entered this before but put it in general Europe section by mistake.
only have 2 days in London. From reading other forums some people have said that they check theatre seating charts& call directly, order tickets & either have them sent to them or pick them up at box office. We are considering the Lion King or Mamma Mia. Where on the web do I find these seating charts? I know these shows aren't available at the 1/2 price booth. Should we decide to see something else & want to try waiting in line for the 1/2 price one (I understand the booth opens at 2:30pm but there are always long lines.) How early do you have to get there so you don't waste a lot of time in July?

You can work your way through this web site to see the seating charts for each play:
http://www.londontheatre.co.uk/
There's a ridiculous service fee if you order your tickets through this service. I understand you might be able to get tickets without such a charge by directly calling the theater in London. It's worth a try!

Just a clarification to previous post. londontheatre.co.uk doesn't sell tix (or charge a fee for genera info - but they do have a members area). The site is the work of one very dedicated man. But he does have an on-line sponsor -- Lashmers, a well known UK ticket agency which sponsers the site. Lashmers will sell you tix and charge a fee - but all the shows in London, seating charts/phone numbers, reviews, opening/closing news, etc are listed for free on the site. You can get the info and call the theatres yourself.
