It's in Keswick - about 250 miles from London

I've visited the museum in the Lake District and found the displays to be most graphic.

2B or not 2B?

alanRow May 24th, 2006 11:21 AM

I'll just pencil it into my diary

PalQ May 24th, 2006 11:24 AM

after visiting i think i'll erase it from future itineraries cast in lead.

These comments have 'lead' us astray from the question. The pencil museum in Keswick is OK...my kids liked it. The Lake District is well worth a trip, but not just for the pencil museum.

Good "point"

Sorry Melissa, I couldn't resist! I have really enjoyed your trip planning posts and learned a lot from your questions/answers.

Please give me your opinion

Should I skip going to the Cotswolds & Oxford for an extra day in Paris?
or is there something else to give up?

Thanks for your nice words about my postings

Melisa
