We just returned from a 10 day trip to London and Paris. My wife will post a trip report shortly. In the meantime, I am happy to try to answer any specific questions. We stayed in the Hotel de Jardins du Marais in Paris and Marriott County Hall in London with our 2 daughters.

Find many decent, reasonably priced places to eat in London?

We really didn't have a problem finding reasonably priced places to eat in London. You just have to look a little and not pop into the first place you find. We were actually pleasantly surprised.
