Hey everybody,

I'm a new user and I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice.

I would like to travel to Europe next June. I'd like to spend 6 nights in each London, Paris and Turin. I've read a lot about these 3 cities and this is the itinerary I have so far:

LONDON:
day1: Arrival.
day2: London Tower and St. Paul's Cathedral.
day3: Westminster and Harrods.
day4: Soho and Covent Garden.
day5: Portobello Road Market and Regent's Park.
day6: Departure.

PARIS:
day1: Arrival.
day2: Notre-Dame and Le Marais.
day3: Rue Mouffetard Market and Latin Quartier.
day4: Grands Boulevards and Montmartre.
day5: Eiffel Tower and Champs-Elysees.
day6: Departure.

TURIN:
day1: Arrival.
day2: Porta Palazzo Market and Quadrilatero Romano.
day3: Via Roma and Via Po.
day4: Lingotto.
day5: Basilica di Superga.
day6: Departure.

Does it look exhausting? I'm not a museum guy. I love strolling, churches and street markets, though.

I have been to London & Paris with my wife and young kids. Your itinerary is definitely lighter than what we had. You should be fine.

I agree that it looks like a nice leisurely itinerary. We also enjoyed Turin a lot (very underrated in our opinion). However, it is not that big of a city and I would encourage you to spend atleast one day exploring the Piemonte countryside - it is beautiful!! You could visit the Barolo wine region, Alba or Asti.

About Turin, your agenda is not exhausting at all!

You could fit in Lingotto (not much there, but don't miss Eatitaly next door)and Superga in one day. But make sure its a clear day for Superga for the panoramic view.

Although you say you are not a museum guy, Turin is stacked with interesting palaces and museums, the Cinema museum near Via Po would be a good one, and you can take an elevator to the top for a view of the city and the mountains on a clear day.

Assuming you don't have a car, a train ride to nearby Asti or Alba in the wine country would also be a goodidea, and if you can fit in a trip (there is a bus service) to the Sacre di San Michele oustide of Turin, that also would be neat. Now we are starting to get exhaustive!

Hey!

Well, I must admit that Turin looks small. I know that it might not take a full day to visit the Superga Basilica and another full day to walk down via Roma and Via Po, but I want to take things easy, so I guess I'll know about a day trip once I'm there. I was interested in Alba because of the truffles, but I've read that truffle season is in September.

I also would've loved to include a day trip to the Loire Valley and the Cotswolds, but that would mean including an extra day in each Paris and London and I don't know if, by doing that, I'd be planning a very ambitious trip.

I already found hotels in Paris and Turin, but I'm having a bit of a hard time finding one in London. My budget is no more than a 100 Euros per night for a double room with breakfast, so I guess that's no more than around 70 Pounds in London. Do you guys have any suggestions?

THe cinema museum in Turin is a must see.

Turin is of course much smaller then Lndon or Paris, but its a real neat and charming city, and lots to see and do in and around, not as hectic as the other 2. BTW truffle time is October/November, but if you do get the time you should visit one of the smaller towns in Piedmont such as Alba, Asti, Saluzzo, or take a day's trip t Aosta.
