London neighborhood question
 
thinking of renting apartment on Napier Avenue in Hurlingham. Does anyone know anything about the neighborhood?

Pretty posh (Hurlingham is the bit that pretended it wasn't part of Fulham when Fulham wasn't posh).

Convenient for the tube at Putney Bridge, but be aware there are LOTS of stairs at the station.

It's nice. Pretty upmarket, mainly lived in by real people rather than tourists or ex pats. It's a quiet residential area.

There's a distinct lack of decent pubs in the area (my criteria for excellence), but there plenty of restaurants etc on the other side of the bridge in putney proper.

I'd be happy there.
