Don't miss Carnaby Street on a Sunday.
Great second hand buys and crafts/antiques. Also a great place to get a feel for the cosmpolitan London.

Portebello Road is the largest market in London, and it's amazing! They sell anything and everything there, a great place to buy watches, sun glasses, any kind of accessory. It's in Notting Hill. Have a great time!

Thanks for the reply. I'm wondering if either of these markets are open on week days?? Will not be there on a week-end.

Check out Camden Market - it's open everyday and much less crowded during the week. All sorts of stuff .. everything imaginable or so it seemed. When your feet give out and you need a rest from it all take a "water bus" ride from Camden Lock on the canal through Regent's Park to Little Venice. It's a nice relaxing ride and the boats are glassed in too since you will be there in cold weather. (I've done this in the spring and it's very nice).
