London - Left Luggage services at Waterloo station
 

I will be travelling to London on the Eurostar I am in London for one night and leave on an early morning flight from Gatwick airport, I return to London a week later to spend some time with my freinds who are working on assignment there. I need to know if there are left luggage services at Waterloo or Victoria stations. I will have two suitcases and I will leave one in London with my freinds. If Waterloo station has left luggage facilities I will check one bag in when I arrive and take the other bag to my freinds place. If not I will take a taxi to my hotel at Victoria station and leave one bag there before heading to my freinds place. What advise can fodorites provide? Thanks in advance.

There is a left luggage office at Waterloo station, run by the Excess Baggage Company (www.excess-baggage.com) who also run left luggage offices at other British stations and airports. Their charge is, I think, £5.50 per item for 24 hours.

there is a left luggage right outside the Eurostar exit - there may be one in Waterloo station proper as well but the easiest for you is right in the Waterloo International Eurostar terminal. You can also check your luggage thru to Paris or Brussels for about $20 per bag and have it waiting for you there.

Be advised that they may inspect inside the luggage before accepting it.
