London, King's Cross tickets on departure
Hello
Can anyone please tell me how to retrieve Tickets on Departure at King's Cross Station, London?
We have the credit card and booking number, but must we go to a window, or can we use a machine?
Thank you.

I don't know how typical this is, but at a modestly busy station operated by SW Trains yesterday, I saw a notice "pre-booked tickets may be collected ONLY at the machines".
The policy might be different at stations operated by Network Rail (like KX), or yesterday's example might just have been a local initiative (the starion has some inordinately obnoxious staff).
But most stations have more machines than they really need, whereas queues at the ticket windows can often be a serious pain.

This is excellent information.
I bought the tickets online from Eastern Rail, because I read on Fodors that it usually works for US credit card holders. It went well.
I guess the machine, the confirmation number, and the credit card used to purchase out to make it all work.
Thanks again, and if you celebrate, Happy Easter.
