I love that you know the shop and have been there! Nice video.

It sounds crazy, I like just going inside and breathing, but what really gets me every time are the old floors and thinking about how many artists have walked there, experiencing the same heady anticipation as we do today.

Geetika, it’s been too long since we’ve been to London, too. Such as the 1970’s!!! My husband and I were there at different times on work trips. Except for Windsor Castle, I didn’t leave London. And only had time to see a few things. Didn’t visit the Tower of London.

We do a lot of theater nights in London, if that interests you. Not, necessarily big, expensive shows, just whatever interests us.

Thank you Sassafrass for your lovely post. Theater is certainly a great idea, other than a musical. Come to think of it, I have not put much about evening plans in this itinerary, because we are staying with family. But we must go to some pubs and do some other nightlife stuff.

My top pick is the Tower, be there first thing in the morning when they open and go straight to the Crown Jewels. Of special interest to those of us from India, think Kohinoor 😉
....And walk a lot, you’ll discover many unexpected treats.

Tower it is then. Will give Abbey a miss unless time permits another opportunity. And yes, we plan to walk quite a bit. Thanks for your tips geetika

You are in London at least 11 or 12 days or partial days . . . there is no reason at all you'd need to miss out on Westminster Abbey. I am really confused by some of your assumptions - and choices.

You might consider a pub tour one afternoon or evening. I’ve been on a few and by far the best was with Experience Local Tours. https://www.experiencelocal.tours/about
I did the Royal tour and it was a blast. The guide was fabulous.
