You are running all over the city.

Kensington Palace is far west.
London Eye, Parliament, Westminster Abbey near each other.
St Paul's Tower of London/bridge east.

British Museum is between Parliament and St Paul's

Of course, I'm not checking open hours. Just location. Then again, with the tube travelling is not a problem.
...do your times include waiting in line? You may want to consider that the summer is high travel season and there will plenty of lines to all the popular destinations.

I think you could easily spend 1/2 a day at the Tower of London. If it were me, I'd allot more time for the Tower and not do the London Bridge. I've done it, and it's fun, but probably not in the top 10 of things to see in London.
I'm not sure what you mean about seeing the Houses of Parliament -- unless you've made prior arrangements or are going during the summer opening in Aug/Sept, I don't think you can count on getting in. The official tours that are conducted during the summer opening are amazing!
Annette

Take a look at a map of London and if possible try to arrange your itinerary based on location. I'd include Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, and Houses of Parliament all in the same day. Maybe start the day off at Kensington Palace, I think the doors open at 10am. The London Eye runs in the evenings, so I'd save that for when everything else is closed. The Tower of London takes at least 3 hours to do it any sort of justice, and that's rushing it. Make sure and arrive early, before the gates open, go directly to the Crown Jewels (before lines form), and then go back and pick up the beefeaters tour. I'd skip the Tower Bridge tour, just becuase of the sake of valuable time. St. Paul's didn't take very long, but I didn't take a guided tour, I cared more about climbing to the top for the view of the city.

I'm assuming this is your first trip to London. If so, make sure and spend some time walking through the parks. St. James Park is close to Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. If time allows, go to the Cabinet War Rooms which is near St. James Park. Personally, I'd recommend that over Kensington Palace. KP is nice and I'm glad I took the self-guided tour, but I enjoyed the Cabinet War Rooms much more, especially being a history buff.

Good points from Myer and my itinerary now reflects input from tammylouky as well. The revised itinerary:

Day 1: Kensington Palace, Britsh Museum, WESTMINSTEY ABBEY, Walk around Houses of Parliament

Day 2: St. Pauls Cathedral, Shakespeares Globe Theatre, The tower of London, The London Eye

Thank you all for your input. I am doing this on April 25 and 26. So if I am lucky the weather will cooperate and the lines are not too long (just before the tourist season).

CM

You will be there on Good friday and Easter Saturday. Likely both the Abbey and St Pauls will be holding services. if so you cannot tour during the services.

Also that is really a 3.5 or 4 day weekend for most folks so everything will be VERY crowded.

I would pick a couple of things each day - Tower and British Museum one day, Kens Palace and a walk about the next. That plus the London Eye and maybe a tour of the Globe will be about all you could accomplish unless you are very lucky.

April 25/26 is not the easter weekend as janis said. I would not expect attractions to be that crowded.
Enjoy your time in London!

I second the recommendation for the Cabinet War Rooms, a truly fascinating exhibit. It is very close to Parliament and #10 Downing Street.
