You can swim in the serpentine I think – but I wouldn’t, it will be bloody cold even in the summer. Old mad people swim in it in the winter by breaking the ice.

The Oasis in Endell St (in Covent Garden) is out doors and heated.

I saw the Princess Diana fountain last month and I think it looks like a waterslide. No disrespect intended to the late princess, but I found the fountain a little disappointing.
