Any recommendations on any of these hotels?<BR><BR>K WEST<BR>Hyde Park Hilton<BR>Thistle Tower<BR>Hilton Mews<BR>Garden Court<BR>Kensington Gardens Hotel<BR>Harlingford<BR>

Haven't stayed at any of them. I do love &quot;The Claverley&quot; on Beaufort Gardens. It is just around the corner from Harrods.

I've stayed at the Mews. It's a very nice, small hotel. Doesn't &quot;feel&quot; like a Hilton at all. The location is super. There are lots of little streets with pubs and restaurants all around, but you're also very close to Picaddilly and Green Park tube. I'd recommend it, especially if you can get them to throw in breakfast!<BR>Do a search above on each of your hotels. Theres lots of info about most of them.

My husband and I stayed at the Garden Court 3 years ago in the summer and we were really uncomfortable because our room was stiffling at night.<BR>The stair ways are steep and no elevators.<BR>We saw into two rooms other than our own..all were quite small with no place to sit except on the bed.<BR>The en suite baths are small and have been fitted into places never intended for bathrooms.<BR>The hotel staff is friendly enough.<BR>It is not a horrible place but for the same money I think you can find better options.<BR>.

We have stayed at the Tower Thistle several times and can recommend it highly. However, if you are a first timer to London it would probably be wiser to stay closer to the action. The Hotel is right on the river which is great, but there is about a 10/ 15 min walk to the tube or bus.<BR>As the name suggests it is adjacent to the Tower and Tower Bridge.<BR>Bedrooms and bathrooms are smallish but very clean, and there are several bars and restaurants in the hotel. It is very busy, and mostly caters to the business trade and some tours.

Stayed at the Harlingford 1.5 yrs ago -- liked it very much. Better breakfast than average, larger rooms than most in London, terrific location in Bloomsbury. More like a large B&amp;B than a hotel, though.

elevator not required.<BR><BR>budget: $100-$150<BR><BR>tube stop is a plus.<BR><BR>breakfast not necessary, but is also a plus.<BR><BR>quiet and modern are pluses as well.

The Morgan Hotel in Bloomsbury may meet your requirements. It is being refurbished but the work is being done quietly.<BR>Several of the rooms are completed now. You will find much info on the Morgan on Fodor's threads.

I am looking for info on the Oliver Plaza Hotel which is part of a terrific deal from Virgin Atlantic but I can find nothing about it on any site. The address is 33 Trebovir Road, Earls Court which I also cannot find. Help!

We stayed at the Harlingford a few years ago and really liked it. It's been remodeled since so should be even nicer. The breakfast was great, the staff helpful and the rooms and public areas very nice. It's on a small street opposite gardens with shops and tube nearby. It is like a B&amp;B but that's a lot of it's charm. We'd stay there again in a minute.
