London Hotel with Infant

My husband and I are travelling to London with our 9-month-old at the end of June. I am looking for a nice hotel with a double room/suite for about $200 a night. I would like to have a separate area for infant sleep in so that we can hang out in the other room while the baby is sleeping. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

..sorry but your budget is very unrealistic. for $200/night in central London will get you a very ordinary room- definitely not a suite or separate area for an infant. Your budget is very adequate for Price-Line..in fact you will get a very nice room which will almost certainly be big enough for a crib. I would suggest you look on the Slow Travel site and see if there is an appt in your price range esp with a child. You might try putting London appts in the "look-up box" for this site too..or try the box for infant in London. Good Luck.

As travelbunny says, $200 (approx £105) you will be lucky to find a nice double w/ room for a crib (called a cot in the UK - so when you are contacting a hotel you be asking for a double room + cot)

Priceline will get you a nice 4 star for well under your budget - but it will only be a double. There may or may not be room for a cot - and you may or may not have to provide your own. And you wouldn't know until after you bid/paid in full.

I would definitely consider a 1 bdrm flat. You can get a nice-ish one for less than £100 per night.

That should have been ". . . for $200 (approx £105) you will be lucky to find a nice double w/ barely enough space for a crib in the room . . ."

Guess that's why my wife and I read books and played cards in the London hotel bathroom while our (then) young children were sleeping. ;-)

We've had luck with the Emperor's Gate apartments and they are roughly in your price range. They are located between Gloucester Rd. and Earl's Court tubes.
