London hotel recommendations please

Does anyone have a London hotel recommendation for me? My budget is 200-250 usd per night. Good area to explore, safe, and central area to see the sights. Thank you.

Is this thing on?

wow you aren't getting much response! maybe everyone is traveling! but there are a zillion, well almost, to pick from. We stayed at Te Sanctuary House and really liked it - lower price point than you are looking at. Maybe head over to TripAdvisor while you wait on the board - good luck!

>>wow you aren't getting much response! maybe everyone is traveling! but . . . <<

Or maybe they've posted on mkat25's other thread.

mkat25: >>Is this thing on?<< yes - as evidenced by the slew of responses on http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...e-502895-2.cfm If you have more questions re the hotel, maybe post them on that thread instead of reinventing the wheel.

Many on here recommend the Morgan in Bloomsbury. You can look it up on TripAdvisor if you want more info. No website bookings, you input your request on the site and they respond by email . Very popular and almost always fully booked. We were not able to get in, but many on here did suggest it.

OK, now I see the problem you reference, janis.....did not see that OP had double posted....

Or maybe it was that my first post was hijacked - move along now.

You know I don't really get these forums. People come on asking questioning and you get these half wit passive agressive remarks from people who spend too much time on the Internet. I'll just use google, dig through info. Without the oh so clever replies.

I think it's more that good advice is freely given when it's appreciated. You may now call me a stalker again.
