Obviously you've already looked and haven't found any or you would have asked us about a few specific names or locations. As you suspect, since you couldn't find any, they just don't exist. Sorry.

In Oct, 99 we stayed at the Burns Hotel in London. Their prices are soft in low season and we negotiated about 50% off for a week stay. It was nice, clean, had a lift, a great included breakfast, and only about 2 blocks from the tube. The room was small, but there are larger ones if you get lucky.
