Iam taking my family of 7 to London in June. What area is most central to attractions (taking kids and Grandparents)and any recomendations on rental agencies?

Rental as in for a week or so?
ParisPerfect.com rents wonderful apts in London also. We used Manors and Co in London when we rented an apt in So Kensington. |
London Guest Suites has all kinds of properties in many areas of London. The area you want would depend on what you like to do but close to a tube station would probably be very important:

We've used London Serviced Apartments!
http://www.londonservicedapartments.co.uk/ They offer a wide range of flats all over London in 3 price ranges, so, there is something for everyone! Have stayed in The Mansions(economy price group) in Earls Court. |

"<i>What area is most central to attractions</i>"
There is no ONE area central to everything - or even most things. London is a very big place and no one address will be near more than a handful of sites. But not to worry - since you can get anywhere from just about anywhere by tube/bus/taxi or on foot in minutes. Good centrally located neighborhoods would include South Kensington, Victoria/Pimlico, Mayfair/Knightsbridge (generally pretty pricey), Covent Garden, and Bloomsbury/Russell Square. There are many threads on here w/ lots of links to flats and homes for rent. Most 3 bedroomed places will accomodate up to 8 using a sofa bed in the living room. There are some 4 bedrm flats for rent - but they will be harder to find. |
