Hey RnR!!

Rubens?...Victoria?

Thats fantastic! cos I'm just round the corner. I tell you what, if you are willing to pay for meal, I'll take you where you can have a curry that you'll remember for a very long time. Something to boast to the Yanks back home.
Let me know.

Ps. I'm not gay (sorry).

Manzoor-where are you thinking of? I am in North London and always interested in learning of good places to go in Central London.
(And what's the deal with the "not gay" comment? Is it usual to prefix friendly but platonic invitations to dinner with notes on one's sexuality?!)
RnR
See you in Feb!

Manzoor, Manzoor, too funny! Be still my heart!

Now, just so I know, which corner are you around.

I think Kate has the right idea, though - just the name, please.

Have a good day, and thanks for brightening mine with some humor.

I'm looking forward to a return to the UK, great country that it is.

And best to you, Kavey. See you on Africa.

PEOPLE!!!.....Sorry for late reply. I've been travelling to Cambridge. (Under no circumstances go there for an Indian meal....Yuk!..Yuk!)

Kate- You can read me like a comic book. However you should know that when you've had a Glaswegian upbringing, 'blagging' becomes a reflex action. Sorry anyway. One restaurant I recommend for you is 'Lahore Kebab House'. It's situated in a little side street just off Commercial Road as you come out of the 'City'. From that direction you take a right turn-off.
Try to avoid getting served by the bearded waiter with the Islamic cap. He's a rude and gruff and I woudn't want him to spoil your meal (I reckon his wife is having an affair). One word of warning though. There's quite a few place going under the name 'Lahore House' dotted around that area and only one of them 'delivers the goods'. If you are willing to pay my half, I can help you get to the right one.

RnR- Dont know if you are still in London. If you are, try 'Paridiso' on Denbeigh St which is about 5mins away from Rubens. (And I really am literally round the conrner from Rubens).
Come to think of it, maybe we've already met. I reckon we have. Was it not you I 'blagged' a fiver from only the other day, outside the entrance to Rubens. I'm sure it was.

Kav - North London?....I do know of a good 'Indian' in that direction. Unfortunately, as it just so happens, there is a gorgeous Oriental giving me eye right now. (I'm in an internet cafe)
Must chase. Sorry! (Tell you next time)

Thumbs up to Glaswegian curries.
