London GTG May 19-25
We will be in London from the 19th through the 25th if anyone is interested in getting together. We are staying near Earl's Court but have oyster card will travel. Ta!
I should be able to make it :)
Great! Let's give it a few days to see if there are others interested and then we can make plans.

Sorry we miss you by a few weeks. Seems like lots of fodorites are in GB this spring.
Taking advantage of the lower exchange rate I'll bet. Better than the 1.50 plus from a couple of years ago.
Last time I looked at going to London it was 2 to 1, so it seems a real bargain now.
I just saw that Pippa Middleton is getting married on May 20th, in Englefield (?). That should make being in London fun!
That's out in the country. No-one in London will notice, unless you pick up one of the celebrity gossip magazines or tabloids after the event.
Will Janet be there? If not, I can't be bothered.
Ger, looks like it will just be us. The only days I have things planned are Sun May 21 and Wed May 23. What works for you? Have Oyster Card will travel!
sparkchaser, thanks a lot! :( |
Looking forward to this trip. Anyone else interested? Ger are you still interested? My email is atmenard at gmail if so.
I already have plans for that weekend :(
Sorry that we won't be able to meet.
Yes, still on. Fridays evenings are always good for me, as I can be called away during the week. This time, it might be Birmingham.
Let us pencil it in Friday 19th May, and I will let you know if there are any change of plans? Regards Ger |
Sorry we have plans for Friday evening and Sunday mid day. Are you available any other time?
Monday 22nd?
Free and clear. What works for you?

Would you like to try this place? It has good wine, and if we get peckish, we can have some French tapas. If the weather is good, we can sit outside. I was there with my niece and friends. I really liked it, and it will give you the opportunity to come South of the river. Beforehand, you can visit the Tate Modern, the Shard, the Globe theater, Tower Bridge..... Regards Ger |
