It looks to be an interesting movie with stunning special effects, great actors and a proven storyline, but the more advertising I see, the more it's starting to look like Will Smith's "Wild, Wild West" - one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Most of the folks in my Sherlock Holmes groups have panned the movie. The rest are withholding judgement as to how bad it is.

I looked at the map on your link. How could it leave out Baker St?

The Purists (me included) cannot picture Holmes looking as ill kempt and scruffy as shown in the poster unless he was in disguise.

If people want to create a new character - fine, but why must they piggy back on someone else's reputation?

Hello ira....well I always think of Sherlock with a deerstalker and as for the home erotic relationship with Watson,well, I really dont know what to think.
Judgement after seeing the movie....perhaps Baker St is hidden somewhere in the map???????
