Crickets have become chirping here too - right now there is a cricket symphony outside

No snow in my bit of the Netherlands but night time temps of -5 C have been normal this last week. Day time sunny and 10C. Today it is is cloudier and rain is threatened, but it is supposed to warm up at the weekend.

Still not AC weather though - that'll be next month when I'm out of the country :)

The only green birds I see are greenfinches and woodpeckers ;)

And today it's bloody cold and miserable - and so am I.

In the garden of my office (yes we have a garden - it's a converted nursing home) there appears to be a convention of magpies. I can count six and hear many more.

I was hoping to go to my first cricket match of the season at the Oval on Sunday - but it's going to be bucketing it down.

I'm looking at a cricket match now (just outside my window in Trinity College Dublin) and they look bloody freezing. There's nothing more miserable than cricket in April with the wind howling and rain threatening.

what price a flight to bangalore? bet it's warm there.
