Don't know anything about the hotel but South Kensington would be a good base for your trip. It's close to the museums and has good transportation links to thr rest of London.

Hope you enjoy yopur trip

Just returned from a week in London in late October. I stayed at the Melia White House by Regents Park and the facility was lovely and very comfortable with a tube stop directly across the street on the Circle Line. bon voyage

I too am staying at the Pelham during part of the time frame you mention- my friends in London say it is a very nice location and the brochures look lovely. Perhaps I will see you there!
