We leave for London in 3 days. What should we do??? Help!!!

Are you leaving for London for 3 days and/or spending 3 days in London. You are so specific with your preferences and budget I'd imagine that answers will be flooding in.

What should you do about what??? Your question is impossible to answer since you didn't tell us ANYTHING about yourselves or what you like. But if you do a search - you will find (literally) hundreds of threads with suggestions about London.

do you need help with hotels? sightseeing? what? at least give us a clue! and if you need help so desperately why haven't you been back to provide answers?

well, she has been back once -- to ask a question about fish & chips at North Sea Fish of all things.

Katyhotr - there are folks here who really could help if you just give a few hints . . . .

Sorry I haven't been back. We love eating fine foods and would like to eat foods native to the UK. We are staying at The Howard Hotel. We are going on the bus tour and have tickets to see WE Will Rock You. Any other suggestions would be great. Budget is not an issue.

I was a post-grad student in London for two years and all our visitors was moved by the British Museum (kids loved the mummy room especially),Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, and a show. You probably know about half price tickets at Leicester Square (walk to the separate building in an open green square, not the small ticket offices near the underground station).
I'm sure you'll get dozens of other ideas. I return at least once a year. I think London is one of the most welcoming vibrant cities I know. Have a lovely trip.

The 'destinations' area on this website give suggested itineraries for various timeframes. You should check them also. ALso get yourself a good map to see where things are located and plan accordingly. The hop on/off bus tours are a good way to get oriented with the lay of the land. You can also purchase fast track entry tickets for the tower through the bus tour.

For traditional upscale English food people like Rules or the Ivy. For basic food try Fish and Chips. There are several long threads here with recommendations. (type fish and chips in the text search) 2 I recall are the Golden Hind and Rock and Sole Plaice. Ben Haines has a thread listing pubs that have good food. www.Hardens.com is a good place to look up ret. reviews & you can search by area, by cuisine etc.

London is also well known for good ethnic food-Indian, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese etc.
