London Fodorites
I know this is hardly travel related, but I am just cirious. I am entertained by the NY Post's Page Six, and am wondering if a London paper has a similar column that I can access online?
Thanks |

Might help if you tell people what is on Page six of the NY post

I'm sorry, it's a celebrity gossip column.

Posh papers have a gossip column. The little papers are basically gossip columns with sports pages at the back. Try gooogling "William hickey" or "Peterborough"
If you like gossip you might like popbitch on the net, but it’s not safe for work people (and there's no US equivalent)! |
Don't be sorry - we must all have our own hobbies - some people like to collect little bits of paper (stamps)
Try googling Hello and OK - these are two UK rags will have titillating details of celebs latest outings |
If it's showbizzy gossip, then that's the tabloids' meat and drink. It's all over the Sun, the News of the World, the People and to a lesser extent the Mirror, especially if they can get in something embarrassing. Try googling them and see what happens.
The more upmarket papers might have "diary" features that touch on celebrity gossip, but will often include all sorts of our own local minor celebrities and politicans that may not be very interesting to you. The Daily Telegraph, which used to be the thought of as a paper for retired military types and stalwarts of the Conservative Party seems to have developed a reputation for a lot of "news" stories about Elizabeth Hurley and other glamorous women, quite apart from the formal diary column. |
