Yes, eks, I do have the same one!

Tiptree isn't exactly exotic. It's in most supermarkets.

In any case I'm a Duchy Originals sort of bloke myself.

Hi eks. We only booked a week in Italy this June as we (correctly) weren't expecting much if anything in the way of bonuses at work, so it's just Venice for the Biennale. But we've ended up not doing too badly - we had a couple nights in Hampshire with family then a 3 night cruise (interesting to see what it's like but wouldn't do it again) in March, a week visiting friends who are living in Cyprus in Apr/May and now we have 4 nights in Bayreuth lined up in late July. We also have flights to Pisa booked in September, bought at some point last year when they were really cheap : we were thinking a week split between Florence and probably Siena (since neither of us has been to either place for years and never together), but I haven't booked anything else like a hotel as I don't know if we'll be able to afford it. We'll see how much in the red my credit card is after Bayreuth, and of course the festivals here in August ! When are you going to Ischia ? Anywhere else ? Thinks - I haven't seen your latest Italian trip report yet ?

Zeppole: Are you still around here despite have to duck now and then from a few people here?

If so, I wanted to share with you the fact that there is a new film about my brother-in-law, actually made by my little sister..... if you are still around you can a find clip from the Charlie Rose tv show, and a lot of reviews from NYtimes, New Yorker, etc etc. among others.....this is my little sister here...not me, the black sheep of the family!!

Best regards from myself and from my Ligurian travel partners..we all hope to meet up sometime , with you and perhaps with AG and my sister (I am trying to convince them to take the trip to Liguria soon..so far they seem to be be hooked on Puglia) in the near future...I still salivate about that lunch at Nonna Nina and do hope we will meet again...best regards from all of us..

Zeppole/goldenautumn/any other screen name she's used has been auf'd . . . Again.

She may be lurking and might see your post. But otherwise you'll need another way to contact her.

This is a great thread to read before (or even after) dinner.

Ok, housrs await before dinner, and since you guys (guys in the convivial, friendly sense) have indulged me in my shamless promotion of the film, (in which I have a tiny but major role but no credit "above the title" or anyplace else!) here is my latest food discovery; mind you, I do not share these things with just anyone on the street. I just spent 4 months in Florida and, apart from an incredibly good pizza place in Lantana, this was the food highlight of the stay:

I realize I have flown off the course, or out of the coop, more likely, here, but have to share; Braswell's is made in Stateboro, Georgia (was that not a stop on Blind Willie McTell's saga or am I thinking of the Allmans? ) and no bad additives as far as I can tell from the list.

Hi ek,
What's the name of the film?
Thanks for the falcon link. Such fierce and beautiful creatures.
