Has anyone stayed in the Dolphin Square Hotel?? What was it like? The web site looks great - but I'd appreciate ome personal feedback. Thanks

last time I stayed there was about 25 years ago - but I usually stay in Pimlico within a block or two of Dolphin Square. Know it very well. It is a HUGE apartment block that is mostly private residences. About 1/4 is the "hotel" which are actually flats that are let short term. Very nice area, very nice flats and most of the services of a 1st class hotel.

I stayed there twice last summer and found it to be very nice. Be sure to get a remodeled suite. The hotel is all suites with much larger rooms than most London hotels. I got a great deal using Priceline.com and paid only $60 U.S.

We stayed there at Christmas and loved it. It was the first time for my family, but my parents always stay there (we were traveling with them). Great location, quiet, very capable and helpful concierges, and having the suite worked very well: the 2 BR/2 bath with kitchen worked out great - gave us a lot of room and options as far as eating in or out; Christmas dinner was fun - we loaded up at the food halls at Harrods and had real feast! Check out their website as they list specials that do save you a fair amount.

Thanks for that. I'm traveling to London on my own in early July and they're offering a room for 80pounds on their web site, which seems like a great deal.
