and leads to the queues at the divorce lawyers' offices in the NEw Year, if previous years are anything to go by.
assuming that christmas doesn't have that unfortunate effect upon you, while you are in covent garden, you might like a look in ST. Paul's church [right on the piazza] - it's very pretty and full of memorials to theatre types - from ellen terry to Charlie Chaplin. i went to a carol service there a week ago [they do let me leave cornwall occasionally] and in the quieter moments, it was fun to spot the relics on the walls.
