London at Night

Two women traveling to London (first time) what areas should we avoid at night to walk around/ or just simply be in? We would like to stay out as long as possible since we will only be in London 3 days. To better understand me and not think I am imagining all kinds of horrors in London, I just wouldn't send a first time visitor to Los Angeles to the Compton/Crenshaw area, if you know what I mean....thanks in advance.

TTT

I do hope this isn't in any way a racial issue for you.

No at all...and just in case...I wouldn't send ANYONE near East L.A either...

I'll slide right over the Compton/Crenshaw analogy.

Anyplace a tourist would find themselves would be safe (w/ just sensible precautions)

I'm in London solo frequently and go out just about every night.
