London at Night

Hello Fodorites! I will be visiting London with my family (ages 47, 25, 23, 16, 15) in late March. We arrive in London around 5 p.m. and would like suggestions for activities that evening. Nothing too strenuous as we'll probably be quite tired from traveling. What is the most beautiful part of London at night? Thank you!

Try the London Eye. It is relaxing, beautiful at night and provides and interesting overview of the city.

Covent Gardens has a lot going on until the late hours. Various street entertainers, restaurants, and shopping--not to mention people-watching. Kind of a happening place.

Two choices; A walk along the Thames..or a visit to the local, find one with an outdoor service. Sit down, and spectate! Alternate, a tourist bus tour!
