London Ash Wednesday again
I have tried repeatedly to search the info. on mass/service times for Ash Wednesday in London and have been unable to find it. I believe one church was the one at which St. Thomas More worshipped. Could anyone find this please? We will be arriving on Weds.to London and don't want to miss the chance to worship there. Thanks!

If you go to the subject search, highlight United Kingdom, you will find the thread on the 4th page. Here is the specific mention on STM:

Author: Ben Haines ([email protected])
Date: 01/30/2002, 07:55 am
Message: Dear Ms Senick,

I'm an Anglican who admires Sir Thomas More. If you share my regard for him you might walk to a Roman Catholic church near his former house, Our Most Holy Redeemer and St Thomas More Church, 7 Cheyne Row, Chelsea. I phoned 020 7352 077 to learn the time of Mass: 8am, 10am, and 6pm. It's good to think that as we kneel for the ash we shall be doing just what his family and he did each year.

Please write if I can help further.

Ben Haines

I'm looking for Roman Catholic, Lutheran or Anglican. Thanks for the prompt replies.

This is the Anglican Cathedral:

http://www.stpauls.co.uk/rindex.htm

Look under 'services & events' on the left side.

Thanks, Dave. I actually think we will go to St.Paul's because it's relatively close to the Tate which, even jet-lagged, we think we can do tomorrow. I see this Sat. is supposed to be sunny!
Cheers!
