I am arriving at Heathrow and have to go thru Immigration then to the British Air terminal...1:30 hours enough time..?

Probably not. Which terminal do you arrive at? Which terminal does British Airways depart from? It could take 15 mins or an hour to get through immigration, we have experienced almost no queue and horrendous lines so you just can't tell. It will take time to transfer from one terminal to another, it should say on the Heathrow Airport website how much time to allow. Also allow time to check in at BA, there will be the minimum allowed time on their website.

If you are on one ticket, for both your flights, then it should not be so much of a problem.

British Air is terminal 1, I believe furthest away....and I am transiting London to Scotland via BA with 1:50hr. in between ...I expect my check bag to interline to the other airline ( BA)...or am I being naive and I have to claim my bag in heathrow also and then recheck it in at BA to go to the other city..??

Who is the other airline? Are you booked on one ticket?

Assuming luggage is checked through all you do is follow the signs for "Flight Connections" and let them deal with you - which will include immigration & security checks. 1h30m should be enough - but then if it wasn't you wouldn't have been allowed to book it as one ticket.

Other Airlines is Virgin Atlantic arrive at terminal 1, International terminal...thanks all for your comments..it's making me feel better. I am on 1 ticket....
