London Aquarium

I don't see much mention here of the London Aquarium. Is it something special, or not worth taking the time unless you have a particularly strong interest in the subject?

It's a great place to visit with children -- or on a rainy day -- or if you're too early for your London Eye trip.
Unless you are vitally interested in fish, don't make it a priority.

Keith-

I went a few years ago, utterly disappointed, especially when compared to the aquariums in the US. But I suppose children might enjoy it.

No children, just me, so that answers my question.

Thanks!

Keith, thanks for this post. My DH and I virtually raced (on foot) after a day spent all over London to get to the Aquarium before they locked the door (1 hour before actual closing). We were on our 2nd day of a 2 day Visitor Travelcard, and the London Aquarium is one of the included attractions. Anyway, we reached the doors as Big Ben chimed the hour...NO LUCK! The doors were already locked. So, I've been bummed ever since thinking that I really missed something. Glad to hear that it wasn't really a loss.
