Madrid or Malaga
I have 3 nights spare in spain. I am deciding whether or not to go to Madrid or Malaga. I am already going to Granada, Seville (plan to do day trip to Cordoba) and Barcelona.
1. Do I stay in Malaga and do day trip to Ronda?
2. do I stay in Madrid and do day trip to Toledo?
I have 4 nights in Seville, 2 nights in Granada and 4 nights in Barcelona.
I am travelling by train in January, and travelling with 3 other adults. We love sightseeing, food, culture and everything Spanish!!
thanks for all the advice in advance.

I've been twice to Málaga (for the Holy Week processions and liked it a lot, but there's much more to see and do in Madrid--the royal palace, the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums, Retiro Park, the National Archaeological Museum.
And of course, there's Toledo, which is certainly worth seeing, especially for the plethora of El Greco paintings.

I love Malaga and have no time for Ronda, but I'd not swap Madrid for Malaga anytime. Madrid is very graceful but way hot in summer and can be cold in winter. Toledo is an easy bus or train ride away but tends to close up at midday so either have a meal planned or come back to Madrid. You should also look at the Spanish palace http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Escorial
