London Apartment / Flat in February
 

I'm traveling with 4 friends and looking for an apartment somewhere near Leicester Square or Covent Garden. We don't mind walking 20 to 25 minutes to get there. I tried to book the Scala House, but was unsuccessful because it was filled for 3 of the days of my intinerary.
Does anyone know of good websites or more specifically, good apartments that we could rent at prices comparable to the Scala House (120-140 pounds per night)? Thank you

I just tacked this post onto the Scala House post but I'll repeat it here. You might try contacting Nick Price at Price Apartments (they have website). Nick owns several rental apts and he and his son, Warren, act as agents for others. We have dealt with Nick in the past and he is a very nice person.

You might try the Morgan Hotel. They have a few flats as well as their hotel rooms. There is a good deal of information about the Morgan on Fodor's.

On my last visit to London, I rented a flat through the Independent Traveller. The owners are Simon and Mary Ette. You can find them on the web at http://www.gowithit.co.uk They have a variety of flats available throughout London.

I've used www.londonguestsuites.com a lot & have been very satisfied. If you're from the US, the prices are in US $.
