Looking for an apartment rental in London, July, sleeps 4, good location budget about $1500 for the week. Any suggestions???????

Try Londontown.com. We stayed at the Mayflower Apartments on Trebovir Road, near the Earl's Court tube station. Wonderful neighborhood and great access to the rest of the city.

If you do a search on this forum and key in London Apartment you should find lots of suggestions. There are threads all the time on this subject.

Once you have found something you like the look of, key the address (including post code) into Google Maps to see how close it is to a tube station. Although the buses are good, I think being near the tube is better.

Lindad17: I rented a property from VRBO.com for 1 wk in March for under $1,400 (including insurance). It was near Earls Court tube, had 2 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bath, plus a half-bath. It was property #194622.

Just an fyi: One doesn't 'rent' from vrbo. It is merely a listing site and you actually deal directly w/ the flat's owner.
