london and paris in April or July????
Have a chance to go to London and Paris in either April or July. July really would be better for my schedule. Would it be crowded and really hot or ok. In April would it be rainy - any opinions out there??? Thanks

We've been to London in April twice. The weather was lovely both times. April is far less crowded, prices on airfare and hotels can be a bit lower. I wouldn't even consider July because of the crowds if I had a choice of dates to travel.

As someone who lives in London, I'd say come here in April. Firstly it'll be less crowded (and cheaper), secondly the weather is no more predictable in July than it is in April and thirdly, there is nothing worse than trying to travel around London when it's really hot. It's disgusting - particularly on the tube - and the fact that we don't have a lot of AirCon (we have little need for it) doesn't help at all.

London and Paris are generally within 1 or 2 degrees celsius of each other; they tend to be warmer although apparently it's 10C here in London today and it's 9C in Paris. It's all much of a muchness...
It's SO difficult to predict the weather - it could be 20C plus or it could be snowing...? I'd hazard a guess at an average of 15C but you'd just need to check it out before you left.
Honestly though, unless it's wet and cold, I wouldn't worry about the temperature at the lower end of the scale - both these cities cope far better with cold than they do with heat!
