London & Paris hotel choices
My husband and I with two teens are going to London then Paris in November. We will be there for five full days each.
Where would you stay? I want to be close to where the action is.
We like plays, music, people watching, shopping, photography. I don't mind using Priceline. Would like to keep price of hotel under 250/night.

Are you looking for one quad room or two separate rooms? And does the 250 cover one room or two? And do you mean 250 euros?
With Priceline you can book for only two people per room - so you would have to book two together. (Most hotel rooms in europe will not hold four people - have either one double bed or two twins.)

rahjmh - I found an excellent deal on Venere.com after looking at many hotel sites ( some rather difficult to use).
We booked the Hotel Clement, 6 rue Clement. Its is immediately round the corner from the metro stop Mabillon which in turn is right on Blvd.Saint Germain with all its cafe's etc. and a short stroll away from Notre Dame.
Rates quoted was 117 euros for my single and 143 euros for a junior suite (triple).
We choose it for it's locality more than anything.

Well I finally booked at Marriott County Hall for 3 nights (used Marriott points) and then rest of the nights at Two Hyde Park Square Apartments. Four nights 11/14 - 11/18 came to $670.24 This looks like a great location and good deal for 4 people.
I've just purchased tickets to We will Rock You. Got tickets thru Londontown. They are cheaper there.
Paris: I booked at the Hotel de Notre Dame. Booked 2 rooms 125euro per room per night. Location looks really great. Does anyone know if there is a website for Paris like Londontown.com
