Loding in Cordoba

Happy New Year!

My wife and I will be in Cordoba this April. Looking for a place to stay in the in the range of 75 to 100 euro max. We would like to be close to the Juderia.

You might check Hotel Alfaros. A couple of years ago it was a fit for what you are looking for.

Hi Turbokid,

We were just there and stayed at Hotel Conquistador which is right next to that district. Purchased with bancotel coupons through Petabrax.com for $63 a night. Were very happy with it--nice room, gorgeous garden, great location, helpful staff.

Hello & Happy New year. In one of Rick Steve's books he does not present much enthusiasm towards Cordoba. Is this city worth a visit in your opinion? Thanks for the hotel recs.

On MY opinion--ABSOLUTELY YES! Although I admire and have gotten much great advise from Rick, this is one I beg to differ with him on. The Mesquite alone is worth it, plus the Juderia and Roman ruins and just walking along the old town streets. Also, the restuarant El Caballo Rojo was one of the best of the month on our last trip to Spain.

Definitely go. We visited last March and found the Juderia to be charming. NH Amistad,is built into the walls of the Juderia, offers great accomodation and a sumptuos breakfast and cost us about 80 euro.
