Lodging in Italy

Two couples are planning a trip to Italy in September. A few of the hotels we are thinking of are Rome: Albergo del Sole, Hotel Oceania, Hotel Nardezi Americana and Roman & Italian Bed and Breakfast. In Florence: Logiato dei Serviti Hotel and in Venice: Hotel Riva, Pensione Academia and Hotel Galleria and Hotel Campiello and Hotel Fontana. We are willing to use either a double or quad room. Any body have any comments about the above mentioned hotels or other places that were both charming and not too pricey.

Thank you,
Fellow travelers

The promotional announcement by mauro is clearly a violation of the no advertising policy here. All who see this should be well advised that this person thinks nothing of trampling on ethical standards of conduct.

Even funnier, his website doesn't work anyway.
I haven't been to any of these bed & breakfast places but I am amazed how reasonable they are (75 - 90 Euro/double):
www.horizonitalia.net/PRIMO.uk.htm
