Locked luggage in rail "left-luggage"?

We are planning to leave our luggage for a few hours at the Stansted (London) airport rail station in the "left luggage" facility. Can we leave our luggage locked, or is it like airports where luggage has to be unlocked?

Stansted Airport Rail Station doesn't have left luggage facilities.

Stansted Airport does

Thanks to you both.
alanRow, is locked ok at the airport left-luggage facility?

yes - it can be locked - but it has to go through scanning first and you have to be prepared to unlock if they want to see inside.
