Locanda di Orsaria or Palazzo Odoni (Venice)?

Anyone been to either hotel, specifically Palazzo Odoni? Can't seem to find any messages on that place. I've read reviews on Locanda di Orsaria being clean and small. Since there are 4 adults in my group booking a quad, we were wondering if it made sense to pay a little extra to go to Palazzo Odoni (which looks nicer on their website though I'm not sure about roominess). Any help would be appreciated!

It might be helpful if you told us where they're located & the prices. Someone may have alternatives for you.

Further information: Both hotels are just east of Venice's St. Lucia train station in Cannaregio. Reason we chose this area is because it's our last night in Italy, and we wanted to grab the bus from Piazzale Roma the next morning to get to the airport. The main problem is that the night we're booking is Good Friday: many of the hotels I've contacted are either booked, asking for 2 night minimum stay, or charging an arm and a leg. Palazzo Odoni is asking for 220 euro/quad, and Locanda di Orsaria is 200/quad.

I don't know these hotels but did you ask them what the quad rooms are like. I would go with the one with the more comfortable room/bedding arrangement. These small hotels generally only have 1 or 2 quad rooms and they can vary (we've had 'quads' that were suites, or had 1 1/2 baths, 2 double beds, or 1 double and 2 singles, etc.).

I just reread your post & realized you're leaving from the airport, not the train station. Are you aware there's a waterbus (alaliguna) that goes from both the Zattere stop & San Marco to the airport? Also, you say you're 4 adults. Would you not be better off with 2 rooms so you'd have 2 bathrooms? The rooms in Venice tend to be small anyway. Final thought, a water taxi that would pick you up at your hotel (assuming it's on a canal or Rio) would cost 80-85 euros or, 20 euros per person for 4 of you! Then you could stay virtually anywhere.
