Slovenia local Barbeque hosting
 

Hello,

Is there a barbeque hosting by a local farm (can be by the accomidation), something that is not in a major city?
looking for an authentic experience if there is something like this in Slovenia.
it can even be at a food market by the locals.

In Slovenia, barbecues (piknik) are private affairs with friends and family and are not open to outsiders. Many open-air public events such as veselice (parties/fundraising events hosted by local fire departments in the warmer months) and concerts will often have grilled meats available to order but the emphasis is usually on quantity and not quality. However, if you want to experience a festivity in a rural environment, that's where you should go. Food and harvest festivities are also a good bet.

If it's local home-made food you're after, then you should head for farm stays and agriturismos. They will usually provide home-cooked meals along with lodging.
