Go to upper left corner to enlarge and zoom in. Click on any yellow dot for more info. Maybe it is just me,, but I love this |
I love it too! Thanks so much for posting it. Fascinating. No, not just you, maybe one needs to be a map freak, as I assume we both are.
That's a great map - thanks!
Super cool. Really interesting to see which lines have more trains.
Love it too. Thanks!
Cool!
OMG, that's fabulous - I wish we had something similar for San Francisco Muni!
Great!
There are lots of similar sites to this covering all the main UK stations and others for aircraft and shipping movements.

To sf7307 again....and this one is helpful

DFRob, THANK YOU!!! (shouting on purpose :-)). This will be a much-appreciated addition to the Routesy app I use (which is much more accurate than those stupid-GPS signs at the streetcar stops).
3 dots on top of each other = imminent collision at Stepney Green :-P
And a long wait on the Northern Line - quelle surprise.
Almost no dots .. oh, yeah, London is hours ahead of us, so I'll have to look tomorrow :-)
I like how the map is geographically drawn instead of geometrically inspired. Overlaying on an actual map allows seeing the London locations with more perspective, I think. Thank you for the link, DFRob. |
