Can someone recommend a good place for Live traditional Turkish music.

It's been years since I was there, but I enjoyed the music and dance performances -- admittedly touristy -- at Hodjapasa, which still gets decent reviews:

You will find three different types of Turkish music at different venue"

Fasil is traditional Ottoman classical instrumental music.

Turku is Turkish folk song

Turkish Pop

You can also find turkish or Greek/Turkish taverna music.


Most bars with live music overcharge, especially tourists. So i recommend that you find a concert (check with your hotel for tickets from Biletix)

Standard locations for Turkish music will be Istiklal Street, besiktas, Ortakoy and Kadikoy.
