Hi Patty, I was in Lisbon in October. You are going to really enjoy Lisbon. when I was there I visited a flea market called Feira da ladra. It is a unique mix of things that are sold there. They a lot day to day things like toothbrushs or soap but they also have some amazing thing. I a ww2 Nazi workbook also a lovely music box. You will have to take your time to be able to find those hidden jems. But they are there. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks jdcorrea1988. Can you give me an idea of where the Feira da ladra is located and when it is open? I love finding interesting trinkets to bring home as souvenirs.

Patty, the flea market is located in Campo De Santa Clara. I'm not sure but I believe its on Saturdays and Wednesday. I remember going on a week day.

Yes, you can find some interesting items at Feira da Ladra, it's held on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
There are also a good number of other markets around the city selling antiques, books, crafts/gifts on designated days of the month. Here are some of them: http://www.visitlisboa.com/getdoc/67...-e-Feiras.aspx Also check with the helpful tourist information office at Praça dos Restauradores to see if there is anything special going on during your visit. Enjoy Lisboa! |
